The parables of Yeshua, which one comes to mind first when you think of parables? and why? What significance do you relate it to today?

Luke 14v25-30 - often called the parable of discipleship

I like this one cause it explains that discipleship should not be taken lightly, but after much consideration.

These days discipleship is worlds away from the idea of 'instant' christianity and the sinners prayer (i dislike both concepts).

Yes, I agree, I have a certificate in Discipleship, even though all should , not all can or do. It is a great work for the kingdom, and were many churches fall short.
