Observing Rosh HaShanah is new to my dh and I.

If you observe Rosh HaShanah, what will you be doing?

Thats the feast of trumpets to me right?!

As a "Christian" we celebrate this feast. For us its about looking forward to the rapture or harvest. Scriptures tell us that when the trumpet sounds we will be taken up. So really the feast is about preparing ourselves for that time.

Practically there is not much to do, worship, rest, enjoy the day with family and friends.

It always reminds me of the story of the 10 virgins, 5 were prepared and had enough oil to wait, 5 had to go get more oil and missed the wedding. So in the same way we need to be preparing oursleves for the bridegrooms return.
