Hi everyone, please could you pray for Stevens operation, its tomorrow. It is called a discectomy which basically means that the surgeon will cut into his throat, move his larynx over then remove the two damaged discs, and implant a metal cage to help the bones fuse together naturally. Potential risks are
1. death
2. paralysis
3. damage to voice

Please pray for a steady hand and a good anaesthetist!

Steven has had his operaton, so far (from speaking to him on the phone) it sounds as if it has been a success. Will now more later when I see him, and will post to let you know
