there is a hole in my ceiling

couple of days ago, we noticed a small puddle on the kitchen floor (we do not have a dog).

Turned out the waste pipe from our bath was leaking... now we have a hole in our kitchen ceiling about 2.5ft square and the rest of the ceiling will have to come down soon so we can repair the mess it has left behind.

No way are you going to fix the ceiling, the last time you plastered was a complete disaster. You can pull it down if you like but thats it!

Has the leak been stopped? I know of a plumbers helper for a small leak, but not sure if it's available in the UK.

You have plaster walls and ceilings? We only have that in very historical houses here, basically sheet rock, but that isn't easy to fix either. I pray all you need, materials, wisdom, money that will help you fix this that HaShem provides, in Yeshua's name!

Ye the leak stopped when Steven changed the pipe so thats OK now, but there is still a hole whcih will be getting bigger. Our neighbour took a look at it yesterday, hes very good at fixing houses up, we were talking about lifting the ceiling up he thinks it should be to much trouble to do. Still waiting for the plasterer.

There is no longer a hole in my ceiling. It was filled in last week, we now are awaiting the plasterer to return and finish his hadiwork!

you'll all be pleased to know that the gaping hole in our kitchen ceiling is not more. It has been repaired and the whole ceiling replastered. It looks very nice. Just need to wait for it to dry out now so it can be painted.

whilst the plasterer was here, we had some good conversations about israel and the church. He goes to another church near me and i have known him for a long time. There were some very interesting questions, and he regularly goes to a prayer meeting to pray for the peace of jerusalem.
