yes, it is the name of the town. It came from all of the fish that were speared here............ What can I say, we're in South Dakota and the Native Americans speared fish in the creek here before whites showed up.

We're 15 miles north of Deadwood, SD, where Wild Bill Hickock died.

Hi Zaksmummy! ( insert waving smile here) Smile

Bob, I thought is sounded like a Native American name origin, So have you ever tried to spear a fish? of do you try and catch them the way Jesus taught? Smile

About the Wyoming comment... Yes, we are 11 miles from Wyoming and actually we are only about 50 miles from Devil's tower, the "Close Encounter" mountain.

Spearing fish is not all that easy, I prefer a hook and line myself. My brother-in-law catches trout by hand though.

Nope, he just grabs them before they can get away.

That's interesting Bob, did you see any of the filming of it? I always thought that was a cool movie.

You can check out my last thought in t/ non-denominational topic "nondenominationalism"

May God's blessings surround you all like an early morning cloud causing you be still & know that He IS God!
