| Gday I am Jewess from Australia, I followed a link from a member that just joined Jforum where I am the one and only mod Had a wee look at your site, and I think its very nice. And thought Okiey Dokiey I will join, if you will have me. My username is the Jewish Task Force due to I am a Member/Moderator of that forum and represent the movement. For those are not up to speed its a Kahanist Movement. But I am very easy going and enjoy interacting with good people. I think thats pretty much it Sorry had to edit I notice the software doesn't like hebrew. | |

| Well since the welcoming commitee has done a bang up job, I feel no need to continue here.
I would say it was a pleasure, but not that would be far from the truth.

Allow me to welcome you, I am an Admin here and some of our newer members haven't caught on yet about the tone of this forum yet it appears.
You are indeed welcome here and may I apologize for your less than civilized welcome. I look forward to interacting with you, I only know of one other Jew in Aussie, so it is a pleasure to meet another from down under!
Please feel free to share more about the movement. Tell us what you think about the inpending visit of president Bush to Israel and the posters that await him. To answer your questions. Australia has 100,000 jews, mainly in Melbourne and Sydney that does include Noahide. Where I am, there is only myself. Bush in Israel, very much gives Iran a very worthly target. I am mix about Israel, due to 43% are not of the Jewish faith, and the Isreali government targetting Jews and using the IDF to forcablely remove them from there homes, I feel Bush can do little for the support of our people. I feel that Other Jews around the world, are in a better position to help. Israel is always going to be there no matter what, I see it as sad place, that so much blood has been spilt on the ground there in the name of G-d, rather than in the name of the greedy men that use G-d as the driving force for their own ends. Forgive me I am in no real rush to watch my people die in front of me. I prefer to help stablize and then return them to their land. What concerns me is the up coming election in the US, I fear Israel will be lost if Ron Paul gains power. But once again its G-ds will. And if like many times before Jews must live outside Israel so be it. Until some time in the future they can return. Bush I think has out played his hand. The American people seem to have had enough. One can't rely on another to do what they must do themselves. Israel must be fixed by restoring its government back to a Jewish power, not this half measure it has been. I must point out I am 100% pro military it is my background, so I may sound strange for a woman to speak of such issues, but one that I feel very strongly about. I am also a member of B'nai B'rith.

| Well, I seem to have missed something here.....I don't know what happened to upset you.....but then I don't know about Jewish things and how Jewish people think....anyway, I'm sure no one here meant to offend you ma'am, everyone here is very friendly......and very tolerant of a poor old Christian woman like myself. I've put my foot in my mouth several times by asking questions about Jewish things, and no one has taken offense.....so please relax....we're all good people here. Smiles, Vella. | |

Women are neither poor or old, we just improve with age. Very much like a fine wine, or a gold bar.

Actually, I like to think of myself as a good "smelly cheese"....the good looks have gone, but gee, I'm still terrific inside....and my husband still thinks I'm yummy.... I don't drink alcohol and I have very little gold, so cheese will have to do to describe me.... Vella.

But brie is my favorate. I'll try anything that looks really disgusting.....we've just come back from our first visit to Tasmania, and we tried some...sheep...cheese there, there were about 6 different kinds and a couple were really quite nice. I really like trying really disgusting tasting sausages....hot and spicy ones !

You lived there really...which part ? My daughter lives south of Hobart in Opossum Bay. They've been there 15 months, but her hubby isn't making enough money so they want to sell and come back to WA. We had 3 weeks there, hired a little car and did a self drive tour all around....we just adore the place and are very tempted to live there....but some of their community facilities aren't very up to date....not good doctors services etc which would worry us a bit.... | I lived in Hobart too. Claremont, worked in Kingston for a while.
But in General the Royal Hobart Hospital and Repat.
I did love it there, my family is still there.
Have not been down for a number of years.
As long as you are close to the Royal you are fine.

As long as you are close to the Royal you are fine. The areas we like are sort of all over the place, Beauty Point, Beaconsfield, Dover, Cygnet, Margate, Huonville,...... New Norfolk was a particular favourite as a possible....well one day if we move.....but we've got things pretty good here. But I am looking forward to going back in May for a week.

| You are not that far away, down the highway its pretty much a straight run.
Dover is beautiful and plus you can still crayfish there.
The Huon valley is good too.
I don't suggest New Norfolk I was involved with the community Intergration Progject there many years ago. And trust me the area has quite gone down hill.
You are better staying south of Hobart, or even going the Eastern Shore.
Eastern Shore is always 2 degrees higher in temp.

Some day, when the veil spoken of in Isiah - is lifted, those of us Favoring her will be united-- Thank you for honoring our heritage -and aiding in our honesty-
