cricket - now there's a pussies sport if there ever was one. Now football (soccer), that's not just a sport, it's a matter of life and death.

Let see the Aussies beat us at that.

Ahhhh come onnnnnn......we beat the Bangladeshies again last night...by 9 WICKETS...it was a walk over...mind you, we are the BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD...and the poor Bangers are really only beginners....but it was still sweet to hear several....6's, and 4's ring out loudly.....how sweet it is !! I used to think watching cricket was as exciting as watching paint dry, but Brian told me about the rules a couple of years ago and I've been addicted ever since. The only thing I like about soccer or rugby or any type of football is the boys in their "tight shorts"...mmmmm...I might be old, but I'm not dead yet !!! Wink

Me and Catrin keep looking at your little picture, and I am sure I have seen it before on an eighties (or early nineties) cartoon, just cannot think which.

Well I got the avatar from you....I've never seen her before, but she captures my personality perfectly I think. Mind you....I think my "GrannieAnnie" one on CF also catches my personality, but in a more serious "spiritual" way...... We all have a serious and happy side to us I think.

As far as sport goes...also love watching the cycling, athletics, F1 motor GP, anything to do with winter sports and tennis....though I'm purely an "arm chair" expert.

Hence the silly bloke above has a busted neck!

At least he had his helmit on that day or it could have been his brain rather than his neck

Steven was just saying he'd like a go at base jumping. I think I'll get him insured before he tries anything like that!
